IEI has entered into a joint venture relationship with Stann Financial in the area of stock market prediction using IEI's patented STANNO technology. In addition to exercising their expertise in the execution of trades based upon IEI's stock price movement models, Stann Financial serves as the chief corporate architects for IEI's joint venture and LLC relationships.

In its first project with Stann Financial, IEI has built a price motion predictor that can simultaneously train thousands of Self-Training Artificial Neural Network Objects or STANNOs that are either cooperatively or independently tracking many different instruments. For each of these instruments, price motion is predicted for the next half hour, on a strictly technical basis.

IEI is also working on adapting its semantic parsing software to read and understand breaking news items and financial reports to supplement the strictly numerical values gathered from real time feeds.
